What do I need to play? Top

  • PRIMARY EQUIPMENT:SUPPLIED ON THE DAY...

  1. Tippmann 98 Semi Auto Weapon C/W 20 Ounce Gas
  2. Paintball Mask
  3. Battle Dress Uniform (BDU's) 

  • SECONDARY EQUIPMENT:

  1. Boots or suitable attire
  2. Headgear
  3. Glove's

  • ADDITIONAL:

  1. Money for admission, and ammo.
  2. Small rag to wipe goggles

Note! Never touch thermal lenses! You must use micro-fibre cloth or you will scratch them.

 

I am not 18 years old yet, but I will be soon. Can I still play? Top

  • Now open for ages 12 upwards. Minimum age for paintball in the UK is 12 years . Any players under 16 years old will need to bring a signed parental consent form . Which are available in our Forms section.

Do you have to wear paintball goggles? Top

  • Affirmative. Goggles MUST be paintball-approved goggles such as JT, Scott, etc. NO  EXCEPTIONS.
    This is due primarily to liability and will not change so please do not inquire for exceptions.

 

You mentioned that Scott goggles are ok, correct? Top

  • Scott PAINTBALL goggles. Not ski goggles. Any goggles you wish to bring must be tested by our marshalls . If they pass the inspection you will be able to use them on the day.

 

 

If I get goggles with anti-fog lenses, how do I keep my own glasses from fogging? Top

  • There are a number of different ways.
    You need to research the internet and learn more about paintball products
    such as anti-fog that can be put on your glasses, special masks designed to accommodate glasses, goggle fans, etc.

 

 

Do you have to wear paintball masks? Top

  • Affirmative. There have been too many injuries and facemasks are required for all paintball events. Paintball Masks MUST be worn in all game area's at all time's. Player's will be ejected if they remove there face protection.

 

 

How much is the field ammo? Top

 

 

How much ammo will I need? Top

  • That depends on how much you shoot.
    Most players use 200 to 500 paintball's day and some use twice that.
    It depends on your style and the type of game.

 

 

How much is the rental equipment and other services? Top

 

 

How do I register? Top

 

 

Can my team play together? Can I play with my friends? Top

  • Of course! Be sure to use the same team name when you register and you will be assigned to the same unit.

 

 

How do you select teams? Do I have to be on a team? Top

  • We select teams right before the game starts and balance them accordingly.
    You are welcome to play on the same side with your friends or team members.

 

 

How do you tell the teams apart? Top

  • We issue coloured armbands or diffrent color facemask's after we split up the teams.
    Sometimes we can split up by uniform pattern, but it seldom balances so we use armbands most often.

 

 

Do you allow upgraded guns for Snipers? Top

  • Negative. All guns must shoot 300fps or less with .20g ammo. No exceptions.

 

 

My gun is shooting 300-and-something (over 300); can I still use it? Top

  • Negative. All guns must chrono 300 or LESS. Tune them for sub-300 velocities with a .20g ammo. No exceptions. Gun's must be no more than 270 fps for site use . The legal limit is 300 fps.

 

 

What can I do to practice ahead of time? Top

  • MOVEMENT

    Your squad should practice moving in single file, skirmish line, and wedge formations.
    Literally walk around and practice until everyone gets the hang of it.
    Firezones are important.Stress that each person has a role and responsibility.

  • COMMUNICATION

    Determine your call signs and get use to them.
    Make up some common verbal commands for common situations (attack, retreat, flank right, flank left, etc.)
    Write them down in advance and practice them along with your movement.

  • ROLES

    Determine your squad leaders, point men, and rear guard.
    Usually, people fall into these positions according to their style of play and leadership ability.

  • SKIRMISH

    Practice the following formats.

  1. Attack/Defend: One team holds the flag, the other tries to steal it. Then, rotate.

  2. Convoy: Select a route. One team must travel up the route, the other must slow them down. Use a time limit.

  3. Multiple Objective: Similar to attack/defend, but use multiple flags.
    communication is important if you're going to seize all the flags.
    Plan your offence and defence.

  4. Search/Destroy: Self explanatory. Movement and communication are important.
  • PHYSICAL CONDITIONING

    Try to work out at least 3 times per week. Even simple calistetics will help.
    Do the three basics: Pushups, Situps(crunches), and Kneebends(squats).
    Try to work yourself up to at least 3 sets of each doing as many as you can handle.
    Try jogging, biking, or other cardiovascular exercises for endurance.
    Paintballing is a physical game and the better shape you are in the better you will do in battle.

 

 

I have an my own paintball guns, can i use them? Top

  • You may use any paintball gun as long as it shoots 270fps or less with .20g ammo. No exceptions!
    AEG's are the most desirable for their high capacity ammo, batteries, and power.
    Gas guns are less desirable and usually only used as sidearm.
    Spring guns will be severely outgunned by the AEG's and no one really uses them.

 

 

Can I chrono with the .25g BIO ammo? Top

  • Negative. All guns are measured with .20g ammo.
    We provide field magazines loaded with 20g and measure all guns with our ammo 270fps at .20g is the common denominator for measuring,
    and then you may play with the .25g once your gun has been checked.

 

 

Can I bring smoke grenades or pyrotechnics? Top

  • Negative.

 

 

Can I bring paint grenades? Top

  • Negative. There are too many complaints about ruining expensive gear so paint grenades are not allowed.

 

 

I have (this) pattern BDU and (that) pattern BDU; which one is acceptable to wear? Top

  • Any military attire is acceptable.

 

 

Can we wear the standard issue army t-shirts in lieu of the BDU shirts? Top

  • Any military attire is acceptable.

 

 

Is a helmet or boonie hat mandatory? Top

  • Negative. Headgear is optional, but encouraged. It is up to you.

 

 

Do you allow spectators or camera operators? Top

  • Negative. Only registered players may attend. Family and significant others are the only exception.

 

 

How often are you open? Top

  • All year round.

 

 

Can there be a mix of ages for a private group? Top

  • Affirmative. Private games may play with whomever they wish as long as all players are at least 12 years old.

 

 

Can I use (this) goggle or (that) goggle? Top

  • Goggles MUST be paintball-approved goggles such as JT, Scott, etc. NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

 

I have (this) headgear and (that) facemask. Are they acceptable? Top

  • Facemasks are mandatory. Headgear is optional, but encouraged. It is up to you.

 

 

Do I have to order ammo or can I buy it on the field? Top

  • Ammo is always available for sale at the field. You may NOT bring your own.

 

 

What time do you start? How long do the games go? Top

  • We offer two time's slot's in a day .Morning 9:30 am until 1:00pm or afternoon 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Larger group's that wish to stay for the full day will need to contact us for arragment's.

 

 

How long does each game last? Do you sit out or respawn? Top

  • Useally 20 minute's session's or until objective's are completed if earlyier that the time limit allowed , with a five minute break in between game's.

 

 

What about weather? Do you play if it rains? Top

  • Of course. Soldiers do not get the luxury of selecting their weather and neither do we.

 

 

How many players are there on a typical day? Top

  • Our attendance has varied from 25-95 for the adult games and averages 45 per day.

 

 

Is that a place where one can go anytime and practice target shooting? Top

  • Negative! This is private land and you would be TRESPASSING.
    You are ONLY allowed to be there on game day.
    You will have time to target practice before the game or visit your local shooting range.

Can i bring my own paintball's? Top

  • No you may not bring your own paintball's, any paintball smuggler's will be immediately ejected from the site without deposit's being returned. Please be aware our marshall's have very good eye sight and you will be spotted.

Can i just turn up? Top

  • No we currently do not provide walk on's . Only advanced group booking's. The minmum amount of players needed to book is 12 player's.

How much are extra paintball's? Top

  • Currently extra paintball's are £6-00 per hundred, based on a pay as you go system to avoid waste.

Can i join another group? Top

  • No all group booking's are private. There may be another group on the day onsite at the same time , they will play in a diffrent area. There are a lot of birthday's, work colleagues or even stag/hen party's most of which prefer a private function.
